What We Believe:

The Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe that the Holy Bible, both Old and New Testament scriptures, are inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error, and are the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. Everything we say, do, and believe is founded upon and held accountable to the Bible, God’s word.

God (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 Timothy 2:5)

We believe that there is one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus (Matthew 1:18; John 3:16; 20:28; Colossians 1:16; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 14:1-3; Matthew 25:31-46 )

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God…and God the Son. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, the authenticity of His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His present mediatorial work in Heaven. We believe in the personal and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to consummate our salvation and establish His glorious kingdom.

Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17; 16:7-11; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Gal. 5:22-23)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the power that convicts, converts, and changes us. He makes the presence of Jesus Christ real as He comforts, guides, convicts, and enables us to live in ways that honor God.

Man (Genesis 1:27)

We believe that man was originally created sinless in the image of God. Tempted by Satan, man fell and thereby brought the whole race under the condemnation of eternal separation from God.

Salvation (Genesis 1:27; 3:8-19; Acts 2:38; Romans 5:12; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-10)

We believe that the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ and His bodily resurrection from the dead provide the only ground for our forgiveness and eternal salvation. That this free gift and finished work is available to all, who place their trust in Christ and surrender their lives to Him.

The Church (Matthew 16:18; John 17:20-21, 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:4-6;Ephesians 4:11-16, Colossians 1:17-18, Hebrews 10:25)

Jesus is the head of the church, through which He expresses His amazing love and awesome purpose in the world. Followers of Christ are to become part of a local church, where they will be taught, strengthened, equipped, held accountable, inspired, empowered, and set free to become everything Jesus created them to be.

Recovery (Exodus 15:2, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Philippians 4:13)

We believe that there is no lasting recovery outside of a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.

In Summary

We believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. And since Christ has commissioned His people, the church, to go into all the world to disciple, to baptize, and to teach everyone everywhere to obey His Word, we desire, by His grace, to play our part in reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
