Jesus simply states in the book of John, “If you love me, you will obey what I command” (John 14:15, NIV).

Jesus was talking to His disciples and explaining that He was about to leave them. He knew that their lives would be filled with sorrow and confusion, and their very lives would be turned upside down and filled with uncertainty.

Jesus also knew that the only way for them to express their love for Him was to be obedient to Him. So, He told them, “If you love me, you will obey what I command.”

When men come to Inside Out Recovery, their lives are filled with anticipation, confusion, and uncertainty for the future.

Jesus’ words are as true for these men as they were for the early disciples. “If you love me, you will obey what I command.”

At Inside Out Recovery, we believe that there is no lasting recovery outside of a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.

Therefore, a solid spiritual foundation is essential to an effective program of recovery.

At Inside Out Recovery, we simply start with obedience to Jesus.

We begin the process of rebuilding our lives by applying the biblical principles of conviction, conversion, surrender, confession, repentance, restitution, prayer, quiet time, witnessing, helping one another, and serving others.
